Hotel Eingang is the most recent studio album from Chris Farlowe as is a departure from the style of his previous four albums by using a different set of musicians. Long time manager Kris Gray picked up the bass, German Keyboard wizard Frank Tischer plays all keys, Miller Anderson on guitar and harmonica with just Paul Burgess on drums from the original band. Guest musicians were Damian Hand and Martin Winning on Saxophones, Dave Priseman - Trumpet, Sarah Jory from the Van Morrison Band on Pedal Steel Guitar and the legendary Chanter Sisters, Doreen and Irene, on magnificent backing vocals, whom can be heard on many Farlowe albums. Produced by Kris Gray and Chris Farlowe and released in 2008, you must listen the last track 'Hotel Eingang' to understand why the album is so called.
Chris Farlowe is without doubts one of the most charismatic British Blues- and Soulshouter. Exemplary his work with Jon Hisemans 'Collosseum' is outstanding, as well as his singing on Jimmy Page's (Led Zeppelin) first Solo-album 'Outrider', highly acclaimd by fans as well as by critics.
